Amaoba Community Debunks False Allegation Against Gov. Otti, Declares Support For Second Term

The leadership of Amaoba Development Union Federated, ADUF, has debunked reports alleging that its President General asked people not to vote for Governor Alex Otti.

In a statement signed by its President General, Dr. Sunday U. Ohuegbe, and Public Relations Officer, Pst. Daniel Awa, the Union said the allegation being circulated is false and the handiwork of mischief makers aimed at causing division.

The Union stated categorically that the President General and the entire people of Amaoba Oboro in Ikwuano Local Government Area have tremendous respect for Governor Otti.

ADUF also expressed appreciation to Governor Alex Otti for several interventions in the community, including the construction of Amaoba Ime Road to Olokoro, construction of Amaoba Azukala Road to Nnono, retrofitting of Amaoba Health Centre, rehabilitation of Amaoba Primary School, and the appointment of their illustrious sons and daughters as Commissioner for Finance and Commissioner for Agriculture, among many other ongoing projects.

The community further announced its adoption of Governor Otti as its preferred candidate for the 2027 governorship election in Abia State.

According to the statement, the President General, on behalf of the people of Amaoba, moved that the community adopts Dr. Alex Chioma Otti as Governor come 2027 to enable him complete his good works in Amaoba and Abia State at large.

The Union concluded by wishing long life to Governor Otti, Abia State, and Amaoba Development Union Federated.
