2027: Save Your Money, Your Tenure Expires In 2027, ADC Candidate Tells Bende South Lawmaker

The African Democratic Congress, ADC, candidate for Bende South State Constituency, Ikpechukwu Emeka Loveday, has told the incumbent lawmaker, Hon. Emmanuel Ndubuisi of the All Progressives Congress, APC, to save his money as his tenure will expire in 2027.

Loveday, in a statement on Thursday, said the lawmaker does not need to waste resources campaigning for another term, adding that candidates of other platforms should also conserve their resources because the people of Bende South are ready for a new direction.

According to him, 2027 will not be business as usual, as the ADC is coming to take over Bende South Constituency.

“This is not about godfathers. This is not about political money. This is about capacity, competence, integrity and the will of the people. The people are the godfathers,” he said.

Loveday said 2027 represents a new voice, new ideas and a year Bende South will choose progress.

He declared that he is moving to the Abia State House of Assembly in 2027 under the ADC platform.
