Alex Otti 4+4 Movement Pledges Support For Chima Anyaso In Bende

A pro-Otti support group, the Alex Otti 4+4 Divine Movement, has pledged to mobilize voters across Bende Local Government Area for the Labour Party candidate for Bende Federal Constituency, Dr. Chima Anyaso, ahead of the 2027 general election.

The group made the pledge during a courtesy visit to Dr. Anyaso at his country home on Saturday.

State Convener of the movement, Pastor Engr. Chibueze Daniel Okah, said the group was formed to consolidate the achievements of Governor Alex Otti and to support Labour Party candidates across the state.

“We formed this movement because of what His Excellency, Dr. Alex Otti, has done in Abia State. He has wiped out the tears of Abians and has made our state the envy of other states. He needs people that will back him up. We are working with every candidate under the Labour Party,” Okah said.

He described Anyaso as a candidate with a track record of helping people, adding that Bende needs his representation.

Responding, Dr. Anyaso thanked the group for its solidarity and charged them to intensify mobilization to bring more people into the Labour Party fold.

“Bende is a Local Government that is so interesting, and by the grace of God, come January 16, Bende people will make their decisions. Having seen what the Governor has done, our people will make a good choice, and I believe that choice will be me,” Anyaso said.

He expressed confidence that Governor Otti’s re-election is assured and that LP candidates will also emerge victorious.

Also speaking, LP candidate for Bende South State Constituency, Hon. Chinedum Edwin Okorie, said Anyaso’s victory would boost the chances of other party candidates.
