Bende 2027: Everything Falls Into Place In Chima Anyaso’s Favour
By Emenike Okorie
As the political landscape ahead of the 2027 House of Representatives election in Bende Federal Constituency continues to evolve, one reality is becoming increasingly difficult to ignore: many recent developments appear to have strengthened Dr. Chimaobi Desmond Anyaso’s political prospects.
His declaration to contest has been followed by a series of endorsements from stakeholders and political groups, reflecting growing support across different segments of the constituency.
Beyond endorsements, the argument for equity and zoning has remained central to political discussions in Bende. Supporters of the Bende North (Umunna) rotation maintain that 2027 presents an opportunity to uphold fairness by allowing power to shift in accordance with the existing political understanding.
Equally significant is Dr. Anyaso’s longstanding record of philanthropy and community engagement, which predates his current political ambition. His investments in education, healthcare, youth empowerment, and humanitarian interventions have helped build a reservoir of goodwill that many observers believe cannot be replicated through campaign promises alone.
Politics ultimately rewards preparation, credibility, and public confidence. While the electorate alone will determine the outcome in 2027, the current momentum suggests that several political, social, and grassroots factors are aligning in Dr. Chima Anyaso’s favour.
If this trajectory is sustained through humility, strategic engagement, and continued connection with the people, 2027 could mark the beginning of a new chapter in the representation of Bende Federal Constituency.
The election, however, remains in the hands of the people, whose votes will ultimately decide who represents Bende in the Green Chamber.
