Abia Homeland Security Agency Reaffirms Commitment To Strengthening Community Based Security

The Abia State Homeland Security Agency has reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening community-based security and working with stakeholders to build a safer Abia.

Ezenwa Stanley Major, the Commander General of the agency stated this on Saturday in Aba South LGA where the office of the LGA Community Policing and Vigilante Unit was officially commissioned.

“Security is everyone’s responsibility and business,” the Agency stated.

“The Abia State Homeland Security Agency remains committed to strengthening community-based security and working with stakeholders towards a safer and more secure Abia State.”

Earlier, The Abia State Homeland Security Agency received a new operational vehicle for the Community Policing and Vigilante Unit, donated by Deacon Jackson Ehiogu.

The Commander General of Homeland Watch received the vehicle at Obingwa LGA, which was subsequently handed over to the Isiala Ngwa South LGA Command for operational use.

The Agency commended Deacon Ehiogu for the donation, describing it as a valuable contribution toward strengthening community security operations across the state.

Later, the Commander General proceeded to Aba South LGA where the office of the LGA Community Policing and Vigilante Unit was officially commissioned.
