Former Chairman of the Labour Party in Abia State, Chief Emmanuel Otti, has called on Abians and residents of the state to reciprocate the developmental efforts of Governor Alex Otti by renewing his mandate in 2027.

Chief Otti made the call in Umuahia over the weekend while speaking to Dreamnews on the sidelines of the flag-off of the Labour Party 2027 campaigns.

He said the visible transformation across the state in less than three years of the Otti administration is proof that Abia is on the right path and deserves continuity.

According to him, Governor Otti has restored public confidence in governance through massive road reconstruction, regular payment of salaries and pensions, repositioning of the health and education sectors, and renewed drive for industrial growth and environmental sanitation.

“For the first time in a long time, Abians can see their government working. From Umuahia to Aba and Ohafia to Ukwa, the evidence of good governance is clear. The best way to thank him is to give him another four years to consolidate,” Chief Otti said.

He noted that the Labour Party in Abia remains united and focused on delivering on its mandate to the people, stressing that the 2027 campaign flag-off was not just about politics, but about consolidating the gains of the New Abia agenda.

Chief Otti urged party members and supporters to remain steadfast, avoid distractions, and embark on issue-based campaigns that showcase the achievements of the administration.

He expressed confidence that Abians, who are direct beneficiaries of the ongoing reforms, will speak loudly with their votes in 2027 to ensure Governor Alex Otti continues the rebuilding of the state.
