2027: Echezona Street Vanguard Backs Labour Party

A political support group, Echezona Street Vanguard For Alex Otti, Aba Zone, on Friday paid a courtesy visit to the member representing Aba North and South Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Mascot Alex Ikwechegh, at his Aba liaison office.

The visit was part of the group’s ongoing efforts to strengthen collaboration with elected Labour Party representatives and deepen grassroots mobilization ahead of the 2027 general elections.

During the meeting, the Chairman of the group, Deacon Michael Ogbonnaya Aniorji, expressed the Vanguard’s desire to work toward the success of all Labour Party candidates in the forthcoming 2027 elections.

Responding, Hon. Ikwechegh commended the group for their dedication. He urged them to remain steadfast in the quest to see to the success of all Labour Party candidates across Abia State and Nigeria at large.

Speaking to the media after the visit, Deacon Aniorji said the Echezona Street Vanguard was established as a grassroots structure with the sole purpose of ensuring the victory of all Labour Party candidates, not only Dr. Alex Otti, through street-to-street sensitization and voter education.

Also speaking, the Secretary of the group, Hon. Chukwuemeka, explained the significance of the group’s name.
He noted that “Echezona” is an Igbo word which translates to “Never Forget” in English.

“Never forget the way Abia State was before the emergence of Dr. Alex Otti. Never forget the good works of Dr. Alex Otti. Never forget the good works of the Labour Party government in Abia State,” Hon. Chukwuemeka stated.

The group expressed confidence that with its existing structure and capacity at the ward and street level, it is well positioned to deliver all Labour Party candidates in the 2027 elections.

The Echezona Street Vanguard For Alex Otti is a grassroots political movement committed to promoting the policies, achievements, and ideals of the Labour Party-led administration in Abia State through community engagement and mobilization.
