“Tinubu’s Reforms Will Deliver 2027 Victory” – Education Minister Alausa Expresses Confidence

The Minister of Education, Dr. Maruf Tunji Alausa, has expressed strong confidence that President Bola Tinubu will be re-elected in 2027, citing the impact of the administration’s economic reforms and commitment to long-term development.

In a monitored interview on Monday, Alausa said the President’s performance has put the government in a favorable position with Nigerians.

The minister said the administration has stayed true to its promises by rolling out “far-reaching reforms” aimed at repositioning the economy and building a foundation for inclusive growth.

He noted that the President’s bold policy decisions are already yielding results, with improving macroeconomic indicators and positive reviews from both local and international institutions.

“The country’s economic progress is backed by verifiable data rather than political claims,” Alausa said.

He referenced recent reports from the IMF, World Bank, Bloomberg, and the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) as evidence that the reforms are working and restoring confidence in the Nigerian economy.

According to the minister, key indicators are moving in the right direction.

“Key economic indicators are gradually improving, pointing to easing inflation, expanding economic activity, and steady progress across other critical sectors as evidence that the reforms are beginning to deliver the desired outcomes.”

While acknowledging the progress, Alausa stressed that President Tinubu is focused on sustainability, not quick wins.

“The President is focused on building a stronger Nigeria for generations to come. These reforms are not designed for short-term gains but to create lasting prosperity. There is no value in making difficult decisions if they cannot stand the test of time,” he said.

He added that the government’s focus on fiscal discipline, structural reforms, and long-term stability is already translating into positive outcomes across sectors.

“This is positioning the country for inclusive growth, enhanced productivity, and sustainable national development,” the minister concluded.
