Henry Ikoh Drums Support For Tinubu

Chief Henry Ikoh, former Minister of State for Science and Technology, , on Saturday, rallied support for President Bola Tinubu during the APC presidential primary in Abia.

Ikoh, who is the Coordinates the Renewed Hope Ambassadors in Abia, led members of the group in a show of grassroots strength as they engaged party faithful and encouraged large turnout in different polling units at Ahuwa Oboro Ward 3 in Ikwuano LGA.

Dressed in APC colours and bearing the Renewed Hope campaign banner, he urged his supporters to remain united behind Tinubu.

He said the administration’s economic reforms and infrastructure drive were laying the foundation for sustainable growth and prosperity.

The otherwise serene Ahuwa Oboro Community came alive again as party members, including the youths and women, turned out in large numbers, chanting solidarity songs and expressing confidence in Ikoh’s leadership and grassroots appeal.

Many described him as “one of the strongest pillars of the Abia APC”, citing his consistency, accessibility, and commitment to strengthening the party from the base.

Speaking with newsmen after the exercise, Ikoh reaffirmed his resolve to deliver Abia for Tinubu in 2027 through sustained mobilisation, strategic engagement, and expansion of the Renewed Hope structure across communities in the state.

“We are taking the message of Renewed Hope directly to the people.

“The support we are getting today shows that our people believe in the vision of Mr President and are ready to stand with him,” the ex-minister in the late President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration said.
