Abia Lawmaker Urges Women to Remain Vigilant Ahead of the 2027 Elections

The member representing Umuahia Central State Constituency in the Abia State House of Assembly Hon Anthony Chinasa, Abiola, has eulogized mothers on the occasion of this year’s mother’s Day by the Catholic Church.

Chinasa commended women for their resilience and dedication to upholding moral upbringing of the future leaders of our society.

Speaking on the sidelines of the event on Sunday, April 19, 2026, the lawmaker called on the Women to be more vigilant and smart ahead of the 2027 election urging them not to let themselves be used or mortgage the future of their children for a meager sum only to vote against their conscience.

He noted that with the obvious transformation of Abia State under governor Alex Otti’s administration, Abians under the guidance of our mothers can’t be deceived anymore.

The Lawmaker unequivocally declared his alignment with His Excellency, Dr. Alex Chioma Otti’s reforms and policies, he assured Abians and his constituents in particular of more dividends of democracy and impactful representation in the second term.
