Abia APC Calls For Alignment With Federal Government To Attract More Development

The ruling All Progressives Congress APC has continued to spread its tentacles across the country with renewed energy for grassroot mobilization ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Speaking during the inauguration of Obingwa, Aba South, and Aba North LGAs, the coordinator of the Abia State chapter of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors, Chief Henry Ikoh charged the newly inaugurated local government coordinators to take responsibility for grassroots mobilisation and strengthen the structure across all wards and units.

Chief Ikoh highlighted key efforts of the President Bola Tinubu led administration, including the removal of fuel subsidy to free up resources for development and the introduction of student interest-free loans, noting that these steps reflect a commitment to national progress.

The former minister emphasized on the need for Abia State to forge a stronger alignment with the government at the centre in 2027 will bring greater development opportunities to Abia State.

The LGA Coordinators — Hon. Chidiebere Jato (Obingwa), Hon. Augustine Pillar (Aba South), and Hon. Ujo Justice (Aba North) — expressed appreciation and pledged their commitment to effective grassroots engagement and mobilisation.

The event, brought together, key stakeholders and party leaders, including Dr. Emmanuel Ndukwe, Rt. Hon. Uche Nwankpa, Hon. Ikedi Ezekwesiri, Chief Mrs. Usouwa, Hon. Precious Achumba, and Hon. Chinwe Nwanganga, among others.
