OZAR UKWU LABOUR PARTY WELCOMES ENGR. ADINIGWE NWOKE, SURV. AHUKANA AND OTHER PARTY LEADERS AMIDST MASSIVE TURNOUT

There was excitement in Ozar Ukwu yesterday, 13th July, as members and supporters of the Labour Party trooped out in large numbers to welcome key party candidates and leaders during a sensitization tour.

The tour was organized to familiarize party candidates with members and to put the house ready to mobilize grassroots support during the forthcoming elections.

The event was attended by top public office holders, stakeholders, party faithfuls and supporters. Among those present were Hon. Godwin Adiele, Member representing Ukwa West in the Abia State House of Assembly; Engr. Adinigwe Nwoke, Labour Party House of Representatives Candidate for Ukwa East/Ukwa West; Surv. Ahukana Joshua, Labour Party State Assembly Candidate; Hon. Ralph Egbu, Former Secretary to the Abia State Government; former Deputy Speaker,Abia state House of Assembly,Hon Ngozi ulunwa, Hon. Ndukauba Adiele, Abia Arise Coordinator for Ukwa West; Eze-Elect Hon. Stanley Etche, Labour Party LG Chairman; Chief N D Enyioko former Chairman, People’s Democratic party,Ukwa West LGA, Senior Apostle I O Dike, former Labour Party Chairman,Ukwa West LGA,Hon. Chike Eugene Okpokiri Ph.D, Supervisory Councillor for Education; Hon. Mrs. Dominica Ullonma Onyeike, Ukwa West Majority Leader; Dr Ngozi Onwubiko Dike; Hon. Chimezie Enyiwoko; Hon Austin Nwarie, Bar Ben Nwogbo, Labour party Ozaa Ukwu leader Chief Quinton Nhieraonye and other party chieftains.

The atmosphere was filled with songs, solidarity, and assurances of support for Labour Party candidates.

Party leaders used the opportunity to urge members to remain united, peaceful, and committed to the ideals of the Labour Party as the campaign season Labour party in Abia state commences fresh manual registration, party leaders urged members to ensure they had their names into the register for easy identification.
