Chukwuemeka Igu, popularly known as ‘Tribal Chief’, is a prominent journalist, broadcaster, and radio host based in Abia State, Nigeria. He is best known as the host of “Hard Talk”, a popular current affairs and socio-political programme broadcast on Spin 95.3 FM Umuahia.

Born in the quiet town of Umuhu Ezechi to the family of late Mr and Mrs Innocent Igwe Igu of Ndia Igolo, Egbeigiri Autonomous Community (then Amazu), Umuhu Ezechi in Bende Local Government Area, Abia State.

He is the President-General of Egbeigiri Development Union Umuhu Ezechi and the pioneer President of Akaraugo Age Grade Umuhu Ezechi.
