Chief Ogbonnaya Nwosu Urges Unity, Condemns Attempts To Cause Division In Abam

A prominent son of Abam Onyerubi, in Arochukwu Local Government Area of Abia State, Chief Ogbonnaya Nwosu has berated what he described as “factional stakeholders” in Abam, accusing them of trying to sell the collective patrimony of the people for their own selfish gains. He warned those involved to retrace their steps forthwith or face the rot of the ancestors.

Nwosu posited that as an illustrious son conferred with the chieftaincy title of “Okeosisi Abam“ by the 26 traditional rulers that make up Abam Onyerubi clan at Amaelu Abam”, the ancestral home of the people cannot sit and watch while their land is auctioned.

(i). He commended all the president Generals in Abam, Ndi Ezeogo Abam and well meaning sons and daughters of Abam at home and in the diaspora.
for their resilience and resistance to accept giving out their land to strangers in whatever guise.

He called on PRESCO LTD to redirect their ambition of coming to Abam with any investment idea as the people are not interested to partner with them at the moment and should not trust any agent from Abam hiding under their wife’s wrapper to negotiate any deal as such person or group of persons have already been rejected by the gods of the land which is more grievous than being an outcast.

He condemned the greedy set of very few individuals who are bent on working towards bringing division in Abam by forming a factional stakeholders forum outside what is already in place, questioning such moves if their intentions were genuine.

“What do you expect to hold when you’ve staked nothing in Abam?”

Chief Nwosu made it clear that being a government appointee does not make one an automatic stakeholder in Abam, and that they are not better of than others, rather a show of incompetence and inferiority complex which they should deal with privately in their quiet moments without making it public, thereby ridiculing themselves and projecting Abam in a bad light as if the people still live in the dark.
