Labour Party candidate for Bende Federal Constituency, Dr. Chima Anyaso, will speak at a side event of the 81st Session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York.
Dr. Anyaso, who is participating at UNGA 81, is billed to speak at a high-level dialogue organised by the Global Reputation Forum on Wednesday, September 23, 2026.
The event, themed “Beyond Borders, Building Prosperity That Lasts: The Sustainable Development Agenda,” will hold at the Pratt Institute Manhattan Campus in New York and will be livestreamed.
According to a statement by the Director, Media and Publicity of the Chima Anyaso Campaign Organization, Promise Uzoma Okoro, the engagement provides a platform for Anyaso, who is also Chairman of CAADeS Group, to participate in conversations around sustainable development, prosperity and international cooperation.
The statement noted that his participation presents an opportunity to engage with development ideas and networks beyond Nigeria while keeping the developmental needs of Bende Federal Constituency in focus as he prepares to offer quality representation.
“Since his emergence as the Labour Party’s candidate for Bende Federal Constituency, Dr. Anyaso has continued to emphasise the importance of looking beyond conventional representation towards partnerships and opportunities capable of supporting local economic development and improving lives of Ndi Bende,” the statement said.
It added that from Bende to New York, the engagement places the constituency with opportunities that international networks can create for communities at home.
