Ikoh Concedes APC Abia Governorship Ticket, Urges Unity, Pledges Support for Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda

ABIA – Chief Henry Ikechukwu Ikoh, popularly known as OZURUMBA and Coordinator of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors, Abia State, has conceded defeat in the All Progressives Congress, APC, governorship primary election, while calling for unity among party members.

In an official statement of appreciation released on Monday, Chief Ikoh thanked members of the Ozurumba Movement, Harmony Progressive Movement, Ikoh for Governor, Abia Elders for Mr. President, Renewed Hope Ambassadors, ward and LGA coordinators, youth and women leaders, stakeholders, party faithful, and the people of Abia State for their “unwavering support, prayers, sacrifices, and confidence” during the primary process.

“Although we did not secure our party’s governorship ticket, I urge you not to be discouraged. This is not the end of our journey. We remain committed to the ideals of good leadership, selfless service, and the progress of Abia State,” Ikoh said.

The APC chieftain congratulated all candidates who emerged victorious in the primaries, with special recognition for *His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR*. He reaffirmed his “unwavering loyalty” to the President and pledged to work with all party stakeholders to ensure the success of the Renewed Hope Agenda.

Ikoh further appealed to all APC supporters in Abia to “put the outcome of the primaries behind us” and focus on mobilizing for President Tinubu, strengthening the party, and advancing development in Abia State and Nigeria.

He concluded by thanking everyone who stood by him, stating that their loyalty has strengthened his resolve to continue serving “with integrity, humility, and dedication.”

“By God’s grace, our sacrifices will not be in vain, and together we will continue working for the peace, unity, and progress of Abia State and our great nation,” the statement read.
