Bende stakeholders hail ‘Agu Bende’ for culture of giving
Abia—As part of activities to mark his birthday on Monday, June 29, 2026, APC chieftain, Chief Iheanyi Chinasa, has donated food items, gifts, and cash to selected widows and charity homes in his home local government area, Bende, Abia State.








Chief Chinasa, who is popularly known as ‘Dogo’ said the gesture was driven by his conviction to give back to society.
He spoke through his representative, Kanu Chukwuemeka Ebenezer, during the presentation of the items to beneficiaries across the LGA.
Speaking at the event, the Director General of the Dogo Foundation, Chief Ngozi Chukwu, commended Dogo for his benevolence. He urged other well-meaning individuals to emulate his kind-heartedness and support vulnerable persons in their communities.






Several groups also joined in celebrating the APC chieftain. APC Stakeholders, Uzuakoli Ward, Dogo Vanguard Organization, Dogo Strategic Network, in their goodwill messages, congratulated Chinasa, fondly called ‘Agu Bende’, and prayed for his continued well-being and impact on the people.



Beneficiaries, including selected widows, Agape Charity Home and Motherless Babies Home Colony Imenyi expressed gratitude to Chief Chinasa for putting smiles on their faces during his birthday celebration.
