Amoji Imenyi Agog As Health Authority Secretary for Bende LGA Flags-off Child Health Week

The people of Amoji Imenyi Autonomous Community warmly welcomed the Health Authority Secretary for Bende LGA, Mrs. Glory Ihedigbo, during the flag-off ceremony for the Child Health Week held at the Amoji Imenyi Autonomous Community Primary Health Centre.

The event was attended by various health workers from Bende LGA, alongside the National Health Fellow representing Bende LGA, Miss Onyemuwa Chiamaka.

The ceremony, aimed at promoting child health and improving access to essential healthcare services, was warmly received by the people of Amoji Imenyi. During the event, the challenges confronting the community’s Primary Health Centre were highlighted by His Royal Highness, Eze Edward Onuigbo, Ojim II of Amoji Imenyi, who called for urgent attention to the facility.

Also speaking, the President General of the Amoji Imenyi Development Union (AIDU), represented by the Secretary General, Ikpechukwu Emeka Loveday, emphasized the need for government intervention to revive and fully resuscitate the abandoned Primary Health Centre so that it can effectively serve the healthcare needs of the people of Amoji Imenyi and its surrounding communities.

The community expressed appreciation to the health authorities for bringing the Child Health Week campaign to Amoji Imenyi and reiterated its commitment to supporting initiatives aimed at improving the health and well-being of mothers and children.
