Amid these concerns, Dr. Chimaobi Desmond Anyaso, widely known as Ofuji, is increasingly being projected by supporters as a potential game-changer in the constituency’s political landscape. Although he has never held an elective or appointed public office, his philanthropic and empowerment initiatives have reportedly impacted several youths, traders, farmers, and rural communities within Bende.

Supporters argue that Anyaso represents a new leadership approach focused on practical results, community development, and people-centered governance rather than political rhetoric. His intervention programmes, particularly youth empowerment and support for small-scale businesses, have earned him recognition among grassroots stakeholders.

Political analysts suggest that Anyaso’s rising profile reflects the growing demand among voters for accountable leadership and sustainable development in Bende Federal Constituency.
