OOPOLY Students Construct Recycling Bins In Practical Training
Students of the Welding and Fabrication Department, Ogbonnaya Onu Polytechnic, Aba, are constructing recycling bins as part of their practical and innovative training.
The Rector of the Polytechnic, Engr. Dr. Christopher Kalu Okoro, disclosed this on Wednesday after inspecting the project.


Okoro said he was pleased with the impressive progress made by the students, noting that the recycling bins are now at an advanced stage with finishing touches being applied ahead of distribution and deployment across the Polytechnic.
“This is exactly what we stand for at Ogbonnaya Onu Polytechnic, Aba – practical skills, innovation, creativity and solutions that make a difference,” the Rector said.
He commended the students and their supervisors for their dedication and commitment to excellence.


“This is practical education in action. This is innovation from our classrooms and workshops. This is OOPOLY!” he added.
