OOPOLY To Hold Workshop On Concept Note Writing

The Directorate of Research and Development, Ogbonnaya Onu Polytechnic, Aba, will hold a One-Day Workshop on Concept Note Writing on Thursday, September 10, 2026.

The Rector of the Polytechnic, Engr. Dr. Christopher Kalu Okoro, who disclosed this in a statement, said the workshop is part of efforts to strengthen research capacity and promote innovation in the institution.

According to him, the workshop is designed to equip participants with practical knowledge and skills for developing strong, competitive and impactful concept notes capable of attracting research opportunities, grants and partnerships.

He said the workshop will feature Prof. Phillip Asuquo, Director, TETFund Centre of Excellence in Computational Intelligence Research, University of Uyo, as Resource Person.

Dr. Okoro encouraged staff, researchers and other stakeholders to take advantage of the capacity-building opportunity.

The workshop is scheduled to hold by 11:00 AM at the Polytechnic Auditorium.

He reaffirmed the institution’s commitment to building a stronger culture of research, innovation and development.
