IYD 2026: Emeka Loveday Charges Bende Youth To Take Leadership, Demand Opportunities
A political analyst and social commentator, Ikpechukwu Emeka Loveday, has charged youths of Bende South in Abia State to take their rightful place in leadership and nation-building as the world marks International Youth Day 2026.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, Loveday described Bende South youths as vibrant, resilient, and critical to the future of the community.
“Happy International Youth Day to the vibrant and resilient youths of Bende South! Today, we celebrate your energy, creativity, courage, and determination to build a better future,” he said.
Loveday said the future of Bende South belongs to a generation that refuses to be silenced, neglected, or used merely for political purposes.
“Your voice matters. Your ideas matter. Your future matters,” he stated.
He urged young people to keep demanding meaningful opportunities, quality education, skills development, employment, entrepreneurship, and responsible representation.
The commentator further called on Bende South youths to rise and take ownership of their destiny.
“Bende South youths, the time to take your rightful place is now. Youth today. Leaders tomorrow. Builders of Bende South,” he concluded.
International Youth Day is observed every August 12 to celebrate the contributions of young people to development, peace, and democracy worldwide.
