“Work With Your Hands, Don’t Burden Anybody to Feed You” — Rev Emma Ukoha Charges Young Ministers

The Registrar of Kingdom Bible College, Rev. Dr Emmanuel Ụkọha has charged young ministers of the gospel to use their skills for self sustenance as they carry out their spiritual mandate, to evangelize the world.

Rev. Ụkọha gave the charge on Saturday while speaking at the graduation ceremony of New Breeds of Kingdom Bible College, Ozu-Abam.

He urged the fresh graduates not to be a burden to anyone by depending on other people to feed them and provide their needs as ministers.

He emphasized the need for them to use the skills they acquired during their stay in the school to create jobs and not to go back to look for jobs.

“Today, you have been built to have skills. And this skill is the right side of the man, because man is doing work. You pick the gospel, you teach the gospel, you demonstrate the power, you come back, you eat with your skill, so that you maintain truth, righteousness everywhere. So whatever you say and pray for, God will answer.”

Speaking further, Dr Emma Ukoha encouraged the New Breeds to eschew dishonest disposition, embrace integrity and work with the fear of God.

“Remember, we have been building a new breed.It is now you’re going to manifest this skill. Use this skill to take care of yourself and then function to the core. Now it is your own work. Do it with diligence. Remember, it is fragile. It is breakable. You handle it with care. Care means with fear and trembling. There you are not a giant minister. But in your capacity you can dethrone giants and set the people free.”
