“The Osisioma Campus Will Lift A Burden Off The Main Campus” — Rector, Dr Ogbonnaya Ọnụ Polytechnic
The Rector of Dr Ogbonnaya Ọnụ Polytechnic Aba, Dr Christopher Kalu Okoro has expressed satisfaction on the rate and level of work going on at the new Osisioma campus of the Polytechnic.
Speaking to journalists in Aba on Saturday during the inspection tour, Dr Okoro said the idea of having another campus is a noble one, due to the population explosion experienced in the school recently.
He commended the Executive Governor of Abia State, His Excellency Dr Alex Otti for his magnanimity and the support from him which the institution has enjoyed.
According to him, the school would not have reached the milestone if not for the goodwill of the governor.
“You can see that work is going well as planned. Look at the pace and the level they have reached so far.”

“It became necessary due to the population explosion being experienced right now.”
“Before coming here, I took a look at the pedestrian bridge in front of the school. The quality of work going on there is top notch. I am satisfied with what I have seen so far, both the pedestrian bridge and the new campus project is quite commendable.”
