THE ABIA PATRIOTS CALL OUT POLITICAL LEADERS FOR DESTRUCTIVE POLITICS
The Abia Patriots, a non-partisan group committed to promoting good governance and accountability in Abia State has called out political leaders in the state for their destructive approach to opposition politics.
In a statement, Barr Monday Ubani, Convener of The Abia Patriots, expressed disappointment with the political leaders, saying, “Their actions and statements are not only divisive but also detrimental to the progress of our state. We urge them to reconsider their approach and focus on constructive criticism that benefits the people of Abia State.”
The group noted that the recent rhetoric from these opposition elements has been characterized by personal attacks, inflammatory statements, and a lack of alternative policies. “This is not the kind of opposition politics we need in Abia State,” Barr Ubani said. “We need politicians who are committed to working together, listening to the people, and prioritizing the welfare of our state.”
The Abia Patriots is inviting all stakeholders to join them in promoting a more constructive and inclusive form of politics in Abia State. “We owe it to ourselves, our children, and future generations to build a state that is driven by good governance, accountability, and unity,” Barr Ubani said.
The group is committed to continuing its advocacy for good governance and accountability in Abia State and urges all citizens to join them in this effort.
