Ogbonnaya Ọnụ Polytechnic Resumes Activities

The Rector of the Dr Ogbonnaya Ọnụ Polytechnic Aba (formerly Abia State Polytechnic Aba), Dr Christopher Kalu Okoro has called on all students, staff, and stakeholders to resume on Tuesday January 6, 2026 after the Christmas and new year break.

Dr Okoro made the call on Thursday while briefing newsmen on the task ahead of the institution in the new year

According to Dr Okoro, all academic and non-academic activities will resume on Tuesday, January 6th, 2026, after the holiday break

“All students are expected to return to their respective departments and faculties, and staff will resume their duties as usual.”

He further encouraged staff and students to come prepared as lectures, workshops and other activities would commence immediately, while wishing them a successful year ahead.
