INEC Announces Commencement of Continuous Voter Registration for Anambra

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has announced a date for the commencement of the Continuous Voter Registration (CVR), for Anambra State.

The electoral empire announced the date in a post on its X handle on Thursday, June 26, 2025.

According to the post, the exercise will commence on Tuesday 8th and end on Thursday 17th July 2025.

Recall that Anambra State will hold an off cycle governorship election on November 8, 2025. The governor, Prof Chukwuma Soludo is seeking re-election under the platform of the All Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA and is being challenged by opposition parties, with Labour Party, PDP and APC mounting the major Challenge.
