Governor Otti Seeks Partnership With Rural Communities

The Executive Governor of Abia State, Dr Alex Otti has called on communities to see themselves as partners in developing the state, through support in the present administration in the state.

Governor Otti stated this in Abuja during the annual Item Day Celebration, a gathering that radiated pride, unity, and cultural splendour.

Represented by the Chief Liaison Officer of the state in Abuja, Hon. Iheanyi Chinasa, Governor Otti commended the unity that has remained a hallmark of the Item people, as well as their rich culture and traditions which continue to inspire admiration across Igboland.

According to him, Item remains a first-class community, not just in heritage but in intellect, character, and nation-building. He emphasized that the present administration holds the Item Kingdom in the highest esteem, acknowledging their integrity, unity, and remarkable capacity for leadership wherever they found themselves.

He urged all sons and daughters of Item, both at home and in the diaspora, to continue lending their unflinching support to the governor’s reform-driven administration and to partner with the state in building the Abia of our collective dreams.
