Governor Otti Reaffirms Commitment To Fostering Partnerships That Highlight Service And Integrity
The Governor of Abia State Dr Alex Otti says his government will continue to foster strong partnerships, support intellectual contributions and encourage narratives that highlight service, integrity and nation building.
Governor Otti stated this in Abuja at the launch of compelling biographies authored by the former Inspector General of Police, Mr. Usman Alkali Baba.

Speaking at the event, Dr Otti who was represented by the Abia State Chief Liaison Officer at the Federal Capital Territory, Chief Iheanyi Chinasa commended the former IGP for his dedication to public service and for documenting his experiences in a manner that will inspire future leaders and security professionals.

He emphasized the importance of preserving institutional memory and celebrating individuals whose careers have significantly shaped national security and leadership.
The event, held at the Nigerian Police Resource Center, Abuja, marked the unveiling of two landmark publications titled “Giant Footprints” and “A Policeman Personified”, both capturing the illustrious career, contributions, and legacy of Mr. Alkali Baba within the Nigerian Police Force and the nation at large.


The ceremony drew an impressive gathering of dignitaries, including former Inspector General of Police, Mr. Sunday Ehindero, alongside a distinguished array of statesmen, senior security officials, and intellectuals who came to honour the author’s service to the nation.
