GOV. PETER MBA OPTIMISTIC IN THE ABILITY OF THE BOARD OF SEDC.
Enugu State Governor, Peter Mba has expressed optimism about the ability of the South East Development Commission, SEDC to transform the South East.
Governor Mba state this in a post on his X handle on Sunday after meeting with the Management and Board of the commission at the Oranto International Hotel, Enugu.

The post read in part, “I remain optimistic about the transformative power of the South East Development Commission. With a population of over 27 million people, the South East has the capacity to build a thriving, unified market that drives industrial growth, trade, and economic expansion. The challenge before the SEDC is to translate this vast potential into tangible progress—one that improves lives, creates opportunities, and strengthens our economic foundation.”

The Governor who extolled the capability of the Boar said the meeting presents the Board and Management of the South East Development Commission a “valuable” platform to gain “insight” that would refine their vision and strengthen their strategy for regional development.
He wrote, “I have no doubt that the pioneer Board and Management possess the experience, vision, and determination to spearhead this long-anticipated economic renaissance.”
