After seeing their desire to emerge as champions in the ongoing Dreamland/Abia State Under -19 tournament come to a disappointing end, some positives could still be drawn from Uchecaria Football Club and Academy’s participation in the tournament.

A 1-0 victory over IBRO Int’l FC, a 2-0 Over Jazzy Stars and another 2-0 victory over Aba Madrid FC automatically made Uchecaria FC favourites to win the trophy.

But at the semi final stage where they were drawn against New Generation FC of Umuahia, the started like a house on fire and took the lead through their reliable striker Victor Ledee but ended up losing by 4-2 to the Umuahia based side.

Reacting after the match the Chairman of the side Mr Frank Chimagorom Nwachi expressed disappointment at his team’s lost but still went ahead to praise them for their outstanding displays but collectively and individually.
