Former Abia Governor Officially Joins APC

Former governor of Abia State, Senator Theodore Ahamefule Orji has officially joined the All Progressives Congress, APC,

The former senator who represented Abia Central Senatorial District recently dumped the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, without announcing his next political destination left many Nigerians speculating his his next move.

In a statement on Thursday, December 25, 2025, endorsed by his media aide, Ifeanyi Umere, the former governor announced his entry into the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC.

This latest addition to the All Progressives Congress in Abia will be a boost to the ruling national party in its quest to capture the Abia State Government House in 2027.
