Dr Ogbonnaya Ọnụ Polytechnic Trains Graduate Entrepreneurs

As part of the activities lined up for the convocation of the Dr Ogbonnaya Ọnụ Polytechnic Aba, the institution, in collaboration with the Abia State Government has organized a one-day entrepreneurship training, under the auspices of the Abia State Graduate Empowerment Programme.

The training is slated for Tuesday, December 2, 2025 at the Polytechnic Auditorium by 10 o’clock in the morning.

According to a press statement from the office of the Rector, Dr Christopher Kalu Okoro, the programme is aimed at sharpening the entrepreneurial skills of young graduates to become employers of labour instead of job seekers.

According to the statement, it is in line with the vision of the Executive Governor of Abia State, Dr Alex Otti to create wealth through entrepreneurship.

It said the government of Dr Alex Otti has done well in providing a business friendly environment for investment from local and international fronts, pointing out that the Governor has established the Export Lab which is situated in the school to export made in Abia good to the international markets.

It urges participants to take advantage of what has been put in place by the government for their benefit.
