Dr C.K Okoro Celebrates Steve Oko As New Correspondence Chapel Chair

The Rector , Ogbonnaya onu polytechnic Aba has extended his heartfelt congratulations to Deacon Steve Oko , the vanguard newspaper correspondent in ABIA state ,0n his emergence as the chairman of correspondents chapel of NUJ .
Dr okoro prays that this opportunity to serve will usher a new chapter in the history of the organization urging the new leadership to always stand for balanced and objective journalism!

The Rector of Dr Ogbonnaya Ọnụ Polytechnic Aba, Dr Christopher Kalu Okoro has congratulated Deacon Steve Oko on his emergence as the Chairman of the Correspondence Chapel of the Nigerian Union of Journalists in Abia, describing his election as a testament to his dedication, expertise, and leadership qualities.

In a goodwill message he personally signed, Dr Okoro described it as a well deserved honour for the Vanguard Newspaper correspondence in Abia.

According to Dr Okoro, his new position is a call to duty.

He encouraged Steve Oko to bring his wealth of experience to bear, stressing the need for efficient and accurate reportage among his colleagues.

Dr Okoro further advised him to prioritize members’ welfare, and foster harmonious relationships with other chapels and the council.

Furthermore, Dr Okoro commended the commitment of Oko in setting the agenda to promote voter registration and sensitization campaigns.
