CLERGY PREACHES PEACEFUL COEXISTENCE AMONG FAMILIES

The need for peaceful coexistence has been emphasized. The pastor in charge of Christ Apostolic Church, Sunny Nwankwo Street, behind Okigwe Park, Umuahia, Pastor Prosper Kalu gave the admonition on Sunday.

According to him, Christian faithful should embibe the biblical elements of godliness in order to leave peacefully in the home.

Pastor Prosper highlighted the roles of family members, especially the husband and the wife in building a happy home.

Drawing his test from the book of Ephesians chapter six verse 22, enjoined husbands to love and care for their wives while he charges wives to respect and submit to their husbands as Christ commanded.

The minister chages wives not to view submission to their husbands as letting down, knowing that they are joint heir in the affairs of life.

The clergy further advices men and women to complement each other in carrying the burdens of marriage.
