BROTHERLY LOVE: ABIA LP GIFTS SICK MEMBER 100K

As part of the efforts to improve the welfare of members and ensure inclusivity in the party, the Labour Party in Abia State on Thursday, July 3, 2025, made a significant impact among the populace of Mgbarakuma in Ubakala, Umuahia South Local Government Area of Abia State.

The party, ably led by the state chairman, Sir Emmanuel Otti, paid a visit to their Youth leader, in Umuahia South Local Government Area, Ihuoma Madukaku who was involved in an accident that nearly took his life sometimes in 2024.

The party among other things gave him a cash gift of one hundred thousand naira, (N1000,000) to support his medical bills.

According to the State Publicity Secretary of the party, Lawrence Okoro Ebere, the party was not in the know of the accident until when Ihuoma showed up with crutches at that last meeting that party had for the month of June.

Speaking with Journalists, Ihuoma who was visibly elated appreciated the party for the kind gesture, extolling the leadership style of the Chairman, Sir Emmanuel Otti.

“I am very happy for what the party has done for me today. In fact I never expected it because I did not even inform them about the accident. But because of the love I have for the party, since I was able to walk, I attended that meeting. That was where they saw me.”

“It’s not even up to one week, look at what they have done for me. I want to thank our able chairman, Hon. Emmanuel Nwaeze Otti. In fact his leadership style is the best.”

“I want to thank the party for what they have done, I will always be part of this party in everything they do”, Ihuoma concluded.
