BILLBOARD COLLAPSE, ABIA LP COMMENDS GOV. OTTI’S INTERVENTION

The Labour party in Abia State has extended warm gratitude to the the Executive Governor of the state, Dr Alex Chioma Otti for his kind gesture towards the victims of the collapsed billboard in Aba recently.

The party in a statement endorsed by the state Chairman of the party, Sir Emmanuel Otti extolled the governor for footing the medical bills of the victims.

According to the statement, the governor has demonstrated fatherly care as the Chief Executive Officer of the state. It described the gesture as a right step in the right direction.

Recall that a 20 feet billboard collapsed in Aba recently near Salad Market, Aba. Reports say seven persons who were in different tricycles sustained various degrees of injuries while one was confirmed dead.

The party further consoled the family of the deceased while praying for quick recovery to the injured persons.
