Benjamin Kalu: Bende Group Berates APC Over Attack On Iheanyi Chinasa

Movement for Good Governance, a socio-political group, has reacted to a statement credited to an APC support group, “Abia APC Renaissance Group”, in which the group attacked the Abia State Chief Liaison Officer at the National Assembly, Abuja over his response to the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Benjamin Kalu on the finances of the Abia State government.

In a statement by the Movement for Good Governance on Monday, described the publication by the APC Renaissance Group as reckless, unfounded and without substance.

I advised the public to ignore the publication which according to them is falsehood and misguided.

The statement reads thus:

Out attention has been drawn to a publication by a group describing themselves as “Abia APC Renaissance Group” It is very unfortunate that some misguided elements would allow themselves to be used under and a non-existent “APC Coalition” to show the ineptitude of a man who thinks himself a maverick. Falsehood Pales in comparison to truth every time. For a start Citizen Iheanyi Chinasa is NOT the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Abia state. This goes to show how reckless you are with misinformation! They sent you to go and attack someone you don’t even know. For your information he is the Abia State Chief Liaison Officer.
This your tactic of confusion and misdirection would not work in this instance or would anyone bother to descend to your level of substance-less mudslinging.

Abians would not be distracted from the matter at issue. And here are the facts.

1. The deputy Speaker of Nigeria stood in public to declare the Abia receives 38 billion Naira monthly. A clear falsehood that has been soundly debunked with facts and figures.
2. He tried to accuse the government of Abia of ingratitude to the President Even though he sat and listened while the President was being thanked for providing needed infrastructure and Projects to the state.
3. In the deputy speakers own defense, a long list of PACKAGED projects were produced. Chinasa called them to question and so far no response. The few projects that were queried were either incomplete or nonexistent! Can we visit those sites they claimed to have executed, to see they exactly as provided in the budget? “Can we make sure that what was ordered was what was received” Bende people are not stupid! The clock is ticking.
4. You demanded to see the results and completed projects from a loan facility that was just signed. Only a product from a linage of madness would make such demands and we know who amongst us with such family history. You were soundly educated on the subject. It is still a loan and the implementation stage has not commenced.
5. The D.S now claims through his street urchins that he knows the history of the said facility and knows the amount deposited in Abia state account with FCMB, a complete disregard for truth and the records has been made clear by the Abia State SSA on Multilateral and Donor Agencies —check!
6. As a testament to your lies, you have addressed Chinasa as Special assistant on multilateral and donor agencies which is clearly a lie and you know it. How can Ndi Abia trust anything that is coming from you Mr. Deputy Speaker? Or should we say “nonexistent “ APC Coalition?
7. Party or no party there are men and women of character and integrity who are in APC and they abhor this shame you are bringing to their brand in Abia. The truth will always prevail. Unfortunately for you and your lies, you are facing a different breed of politicians, men and women who are resolute in their quest for good governance and excellence. The days of “confuse and misdirect” are over. The days of “GAMJI” and packaging are over, MR PACKAGER!
8. You can remain in your crass level of calumny. We all know that you can take the boy out of the village but you cannot take the village out of the boy.
