ANAMBRA: UKACHUKWU WINS APC TICKET

The All Progressives Congress, APC, gubernatorial primary election conducted in Anambra State on Saturday has produced Nicholas Ukachukwu as the standard bearer of the ruling party for the November governorship election in the state.

Business man, Nicholas Ukachukwu won a landslide with1,455 votes.

Valentine Ozigbo who recently dumped the Labour Party for the APC suffered a huge defeat with just 67 votes.

The election which took place in Awka, the Anambra State capital saw other aspirants, such as, owner of United Nigeria Airline, Obiora Okonkwo, Paul Chukwuma and Chukwuma Umeoji withdraw from the contest hours earlier.
