Abia Speaker To Consolidate On Achievements

The Speaker of the Abia State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Emmanuel Emeruwa said the house would consolidate their achievements in the next two years.

Hon. Emeruwa stated this in Aba on Thursday during an interactive session with journalists on the sidelines of an event to appreciate empower his constituents for the support he has enjoyed so far.

The event which took place in the main bowels of Aba Town Hall saw a mammoth crowed come to partake in the empowerment programme of Hon. Emeruwa.

Speaking, the legislator pledged to ensure the House consolidates on their achievements so far to bring more dividends of democracy to all Abians.

Hon. Emeruwa further attributed the peace and progress experienced in the house so far to an “understanding and friendly approach” he has adopted in running the affairs of the house.

“We have tried to understand each other. I’ve also studied the members of the legislature and know how to play with everybody. I don’t boss people. I relate with them, so that’s the magic”.

When asked if he would run in 2027,:the Speaker simply said, “God will say.”
