Abia LP Dominates Ikwuano LGA

The Acting State Chairman of the Labour Party in Abia State, Sir Emmanuel Otti has enjoined new entrants into the party to remain good ambassadors of the party and the Executive Governor, Dr Alex Otti, wherever they find themselves.

Sir Otti gave the injunction on Friday, October 10, 2025 at a reception organized in honour of the State Working Committee SWC of the party who visited Ikwuano Local Government Area as part of its local government sensitization tour.

While he appreciated the over 1,000 new members and the growing support for the party, Sir Otti called for unity, discipline, and commitment to the party’s ideals.

The Mayor of Ikwuano, Dr. Anthony Nzeribe Nwaubani, in his welcome address thanked Governor Dr. Alex Chioma Otti for his support to the LGA and pledged to do more for the people of Ikwuano.

During an interactive session, Mr. Ibe Obialor, Zonal Chairman (Abia Central), formally welcomed the SWC to the zone. He commended the State Acting Chairman for his leadership style and urged party faithful to intensify efforts to promote the Labour Party in Ikwuano.
