“Abia Is The New Business Destination In Nigeria” — Chief Iheanyi Chinasa

The Abia State liaison officer, Chief Iheanyi Chinasa has expressed delight over the number of investors besieging his office, expressing interest in investing in Abia State.

Chief Iheanyi made this known while speaking with business correspondents during an interactive meeting organized by the Abia Liaison Office in Abuja with some business executives who expressed their desire to invest in the state .

He attributed the influx of investors as a result of the marvelous business environment being created in Abia by the Governor who is very intentional in building a sustainable economy transparently.

Chief Iheanyi said that under the new leadership in Abia, led by Dr Alex Otti, every investor can be rest assured of the benefits because the Governor is willing to provide support to encourage investors.

“If you look at what the governor is doing, the business environment is inviting. Roads are being built, infrastructure is receiving huge attention and the health care system is working. Security is top notch ,government is also investing in power generation , the unnecessary bottlenecks have been dismantled thereby making things easier for investors to relate with government transparently.”

The former House of Representatives candidate (Bende Federal Constituency), of the Labour Party in the 2023 election explained the governor’s firm belief in the contribution of the private sector in building a strong economy,, hence the government is ever willing to do everything possible to ensure that it creates an investment friendly environment.

“Governor Alex otti believes that the private sector has a role to play in building a strong economy hence the government is ever willing to do everything possible to ensure that it creates an investment environment”
