2027: ATIKU, EL-RUFAI OTHERS MEET BEHIND CLOSED DOORS
Former Vice Atiku Abubakar on Sunday held a closed door meeting with former governor of Kaduna State, Nasri El-Rufai, former governor of Adamawa State, Jibrilla Bindo and the Dujima of Adamawa, Musa Halilu.

Though the agenda of the meeting is yet not clear but it is not unconnected with the process of a coalition to dislodge the ruling All Progressives Congress in 2027.
In a post on his X handle, the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in the 2023 presidential election posted a picture of them in a room.
According to the post, the meeting took place after breaking the day’s Ramadan fast in Atiku’s home.

He simply wrote, “After tonight’s Itfar (breaking of fast), I received in audience, former Governor of Kaduna State, @elrufai, former Governor of Adamawa, Jibrilla Bindow and Musa Halilu, Dujima Adamawa. Our robust discussions were the dessert of the meal.”
Recently, after falling out with the APC, El-Rufai has been in close contact with Waziri Adamawa, many suggesting he has left the party.
Atiku too has not been spared by the defection rumour which he has denied through his media office but admitted there’s a coalition process.
