2027: AKWA IBOM GOVERNOR JOINS APC

After a long period of suspense, the Executive Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Pastor Umo Eno has formally dumped the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP and joined the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC.

Speaking, the governor expressed his gratitude to the PDP for their support during his tenure, stating that it was time for him to make a progressive move, saying his action followed series of consultations.

According to Governor Eno, he decided to join the APC as a result of his admiration for President Bola Tinubu and the need for Akwa Ibom State to align with the federal government to reap continuous benefits.

Governor Eno assured the people of Akwa Ibom State that he would continue to work tirelessly for their benefit, regardless of party affiliation.
